Chubb, a global insurer, has announced the appointment of Joe Gaspero as Senior Vice President, National Account Segment Leader of Major Accounts Excess Casualty, effective immediately.
In his new role, Gaspero will oversee the growth and development of Chubb’s National Account portfolio for Excess Casualty business in the United States.
He will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of brokers and clients, while also driving growth of Chubb’s recently launched claims-made excess casualty facility, which provides clients an alternative option for the first layer of umbrella liability coverage.
“Joe’s deep expertise, proven leadership, and strong relationships with our broker partners make him the ideal candidate to lead our National Accounts portfolio within Excess Casualty,” said Lyndsey Christofer, Executive Vice President, Head of North America Casualty for Chubb Major Accounts. “His strategic approach and focus on driving results will further strengthen our position as a market leader.”

Based in Philadelphia, Gaspero will continue to report to Sam Codispoti, Executive Vice President, Major Accounts Excess Casualty leader.
With nearly 15 years in the insurance industry, the executive brings a wealth of experience to his new role.
He has been part of Chubb since joining the company in 2013. Since the, he has held several leadership positions, most recently serving as Eastern Region Leader for Major Accounts Excess Casualty.
During this time, he managed underwriting operations and drove growth along the U.S. East Coast regions.
