Aon appoints Andrew Minnitt as Head of Southeast Asia

Aon, a global insurance and reinsurance broking group, has announced the appointment of Andrew Minnitt as Head of Southeast Asia.

The newly created role brings together Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam as a unified subregion.

Minnitt will expand his current role as Head of Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia to lead the new Southeast Asia subregion, while continuing to serve as CEO of Singapore.

He brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, including the past decade at Aon.

Before joining Aon, he served as Managing Director for Thailand, with regional responsibility for CLMV countries, at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, and as Regional Director, Financial Lines at Lockton.

Aon also recently named Qin Lu as Head of North Asia, bringing together Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau under a single subregion.
