David Turner to lead SiriusPoint’s global Claims function

Specialty insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint has announced the appointment of David Turner as Global Head of Claims, a London-based role.

sirius_point_logo_newFrom October 7, 2025, Turner will lead the global Claims function, overseeing teams across London and New York. He will be reporting to Scott Egan, Chief Executive Officer at SiriusPoint, who commented: “SiriusPoint’s Claims function has evolved considerably over the last few years as we enhance the claims experience for our partners and clients.

“David is a highly experienced claims leader, and I am looking forward to welcoming him to the team to oversee the development of our global offering.”

Turner is joining SiriusPoint from Fidelis, where he was Group Head of Claims with responsibility for growing the claims function across key underwriting hubs.

Prior to his time at Fidelis, the executive served as Global Claims Director at MS Amlin, and led the development and implementation of a global claims strategy. He also spent time in the claims team at Willis.
